Gilles Mentré has 10+ years experience as a senior investment banker. He was for 7 years a managing director at Lazard where he chaired the European Tech Growth Banking practice. He started his career at the French Treasury (Inspection générale des finances) and served as an advisor to President Nicolas Sarkozy as well as two finance ministers (Thierry Breton, Francois Baroin) and a deputy prime minister (Jean-Louis Borloo). Gilles is also an entrepreneur, cofounder of the startup Electis active in next-gen e-voting. Gilles graduated from École Polytechnique and ENA, and is a Young Global Leader from the World economic forum.
